The Percent(%) Complete is a feature for Integrations only and is displayed on the Activity Map in the % Complete column.  The %Complete is a field displayed in the Detail window of a Project, Workstream, Milestone, Task or SubTask.  The percentage is entered manually at the child level and is read only at the parent level.  Note:  If an Actual End Date is present, then % Complete will be 100% and the field would be non-editable.

The below scenarios describe if/when the % Complete field is editable:

• If any Deal has only a Project and no Workstream or Milestone, then the Project’s % Complete field is editable.
• If any Deal has Project and Workstream, but no Milestone and Tasks, then the Workstream’s % Complete is editable and Project is read only.
• If any Deal has Project, Workstream and Milestone, but no Tasks and Sub Tasks, then the Milestone’s % Complete is editable and Projects and Workstreams are read only.
• If any Deal has Project, Workstream, Milestone and Tasks, but no SubTasks, then only Tasks % Complete is editable.  The other parent items are read only.
• If any Deal has Project, Workstream, Milestone, Tasks and SubTasks, then only SubTasks % Complete is editable.  The other parent items are read only.
  
  
  

The % Complete Calculation is derived from the below criteria:

• Forecast Start Date and End Date fields are mandatory for this calculation.
• If Forecast Start Date or End Date is blank, then that entity is not contributing to the % Complete calculation of the parent level.
• % Complete of the parent is calculated on the bases of Forecast Dates and % Complete of the child level.
• If Forecast Start Date and End Date of any entity are the same, then that entity won’t contribute in the % Complete calculation.
